Thank you for your interest in Lawrence 360 Church! We’re glad you’re here.

Our desire is that you would feel at home as you come through our doors. It is our goal to create a safe place for people to find and follow Jesus, because we believe that He changes lives. Through a family- friendly atmosphere, we offer a message of hope in Jesus. If you already have a relationship with Christ or you’re exploring faith for the first time, we would love the opportunity to welcome you to our church family.

Our hope is to be a place where you can experience a loving, Godly community, grow in faith in Jesus, reach out to those that need to experience the love of Jesus and that eventually you would be able to lead others in the same love of Christ that you’ve experienced!

Vision

Worshiping Jesus – Loving People

Our desire as a church is to be a community that worships Jesus and loves people. To worship means to serve, reverence, honor and respect. To love means to be devoted and attached to another.

“God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” – John 4:24

“By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” – John 13:35

To fully realize these two ideas, there are four important values that guide us as a church; engaging in community, growing in faith, reaching out to one another and leading others.

Community: God’s desire is that we would live life together in community, not on “spiritual islands.”

“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.” – Hebrews 10:23-25

Growing: God’s desire is that we would build on our faith and mature as followers of Jesus.

“…make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” – 2 Peter 1:5-8

Reaching Out: God’s desire is that as we experience the love, grace and mercy of God that we would share Him with others. This is done through missions, church outreaches and individual ministry.

“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” – Matthew 28:18-20

Leading: God’s desire is that as we personally grow in faith, that we would help others grow in those same ways.

“…what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.” – 2 Timothy 2:2

DOCTRINE & BELIEFS

Lawrence 360 Church in Lawrence, Kansas is a Pentecostal church affiliated with the Assemblies of God. The “Statement of Fundamental Truths” contains the 16 doctrines of the Assemblies of God. These are the tenets of faith that we as a church hold as true (though this is not an exhaustive list of Biblical truth).

We are not suggesting that we have the corner on truth; simply, as we best understand the Bible, these are truths on which we have chosen to ground our fellowship. They are as follows:

The Fall of Man / The Salvation of Man / The Ordinances of the Church

The Baptism in the Holy Spirit / The Initial Physical Evidence of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit
